When sharing articles or team updates in Cleary, you’ll now have the ability to create a formatted, custom notification that will sync to Slack!
To set up, head to Settings → Integrations and Install the personal slack integration.
When writing the article, you’ll see the Edit Slack Message card appear on the bottom of the Audience & Settings tab. Your Summary Card content will prepopulate here, but you can make edits as needed.
Before sending, you can also click the Send me a preview button to preview how your post will appear in Slack!
When choosing Publish as Slack Bot, your message will appear to Slack as your company’s Slack bot, along with a link to read the post, as well as the author, team, and title of the article:
When choosing Publish as myself on Slack, this message will sync to Slack with yourself as the poster, along with the title and an action button to read the post in Cleary.
