Did your company update the Employee Handbook and want to ensure employees have acknowledged that? Is there a new security policy from IT that you want to make required reading? Perhaps there is a Compliance requirement to track who has acknowledged a specific communication. You can use Cleary's Require Acknowledgement setting on any news article.
Once you've created your article draft, check the box underneath Settings to Require acknowledgment from all audience users. A deadline for acknowledgement will be prepopulated 1 week from today. Click the date field to make changes.
The published article will have a banner indicating it requires acknowledgement, as will the email and Slack notifications. An automated "Due Tomorrow" reminder email will be sent to everyone who hasn't acknowledged as of the day before the deadline.
Need to know who has yet to acknowledge the article? Navigate to the article stats page and scroll to the Acknowledgements card. Alternatively, you can click View Details next to the Acknowledgment setting on the article editor. Here you can view and export a list of everyone who has not yet acknowledged the article, as well as send reminders.
FAQs:
Q: I’m requiring Acknowledgement on this comms, but when I send myself a Preview email, I’m not seeing the “View and Acknowledge” button at the bottom of the email. Is that expected? How can I preview / confirm that it looks the way it should?
A: It doesn't appear that our Preview emails properly reflect when an article has the Acknowledgment Required setting on. So it doesn't have the blue label at the top, the Action Required in the subject, or the updated CTA in the email. But when it is published, it looked as expected.
