Overview
When first accessing Platform analytics, you’ll see the following modules indicating overall platform usage:
With engagement, you can see how many unique employees are engaging with Cleary, including opening emails and using go/links.
Filtering to App Page Views Only to filter out those who are only interacting with emails or using go/links.
You can click % on the top right to change the analysis between percentage of total users, and # to return the view to total unique users.
Furthermore, you can click Export XLSX to download a spreadsheet compatible file containing these engagement statistics.
Module Usage will show a multiple line graph, with each line representing how many unique users are interacting with modules in Cleary.
Similarly, with Most Popular Modules you can see what percentage of total users are interacting with the various modules across the selected time frame and filter.
Module Usage and Most Popular Modules are both great to see which parts of Cleary your employees are interacting with the most!
The adoption module is a great way to see how deeply the makeup of your company is contributing to Cleary within a time frame.
- Contributors make up any user who has contributed to any sort of content on Cleary. This includes creating, commenting, or reacting to articles, badges, celebration cards, comments, go/links, teams, events, pages, shoutouts or creating a profile.
- Consumers may have viewed content on Cleary or through email but have not created content (though they may have logged in, completed tasks and surveys, or used search or go/links), while the No usage cohort has done none of the above.
You can click Export XLSX on the top right to view a spreadsheet compatible file to view these adoption statistics.
News
Navigating to the News filter on the top allows you to see a summary of engagement and usage of articles in Cleary. You can use the date drop-down to change your desired timeline for these statistics.
Below you’ll see a multiple line graph, reflecting how your employees are engaging with news in Cleary across different channels. You can click % to change your view as a percentage of total users engaging with that channel. Note that there may be overlap: an employee engaging on Slack could also be engaging on the app or on Email.
Next, you'll see modules displaying the Most Engaging Articles and Most Engaging Authors across the platform. Each article is ranked based on the audience reach (percentage of users who have engaged with the article in some way) of the article or author within the selected time frame and filter. Clicking on an article within Most Engaging Articles will allow you to view the stats for that specific article.

Clicking on an author within Most Engaging Authors will take you to that employee’s profile.
Clicking See More in either module will allow you to see more articles or authors.
Lastly, you’ll see a graph for Content Created. This will give you an overview of how many articles and team posts were created in that time period. Use this graph to evaluate if you need to publish more content or spread out the frequency of existing content to engage with your employees at the right cadence. You can use the drop-down within the graph to filter between Articles and Team posts.
Pages
Navigating to the Pages filter on the top first presents you with a graph reflecting the usage of the Pages module in Cleary.
This will show you the unique users engaging with Pages within the time frame and filters. On the left of the graph, you’ll see the total number of unique users engaged. The graph will show you how many unique users are engaging across the selected time frame. You can click % on the top right to change your view to a percentage of total unique users.
Next, you’ll see modules for the most popular and least popular pages, stale pages (pages that haven’t been updated in over a year), and pages with inactive users (pages managed by users who left the company or are otherwise listed as inactive in Cleary).
Clicking on the pages listed in these modules will take you to that page’s stats page.

Next you’ll see a multiple line graph reflecting how many unique users are using search across the time period and filters. You can click % on the top right to reflect the percentage of users instead of the total number.
You’ll then see the following modules reflecting Top Search Queries to understand what’s currently popular amongst employees. You’ll also see Queries with 0 Results, which can be used to guide thinking for new pages or articles to develop within your org.

You can see the type of content that is being selected, and click on the result to see it for yourself!
- Note: Search results for third-party integrations such as Google Drive, Notion, or Confluence will not be displayed.
