Nav Color will correspond to the background color. Nav Text Color will correspond to the general text color. Nav Text Active Color will represent the color of the active text, or the color while on the associated page or while highlighting it with your cursor.
Next is the Left Navbar Background Color, reflecting how the nav bar on the left of sections such as Pages and Admin will appear.
There are then configurable options for subnav colors. These will affect how the subnavigation will appear on sections such as Teams in Cleary.
Subnav Color will affect the background of the subnav, Subnav Text will be the general color of the text, while Subnav Text Active Color will be affected while on the color of the associated page, or highlighting with your cursor.
Nav box shadow, if enabled, will reflect a small shadow below the main nav bar on the app.
Customizing nav tax transform will change the headings in the navigation bar to be all capitalized or lowercase, should you choose.
Finally, changing the Favicon URL will change how the icon is displayed in a browser’s tab:

Typography
Navigating to Typography tab in the Styles section will allow you to customize the sizing of Headers used in text editors across Cleary.
In addition, you can change the Font Weight, affecting the boldness of text across Cleary.
We’ve set suggested defaults for this section that are cohesive across the app, so we don’t recommend adjusting these too much!
Feed
In the Feed tab, you’ll be able to customize the color of several different feed card types that will appear on the homepage of Cleary.
Beneath each option, you’ll also be able to see a preview of the card and how the color change affects it. This can be a good place to leverage the secondary colors in your company’s brand guidelines, since they appear less frequently throughout the feed.
Make sure to click Save at the bottom of this section once finished customizing.
Components
In the components tab, you’ll be able to further configure different style elements across Cleary.
Each of these options will be present with interactive examples showcasing how the change in color will reflect the module.
You can also customize the border radius across different elements in Cleary. This will affect how rounded the edges are in these elements. Increasing the value will increase the roundness of the element.
You can see the difference between a radius of 0 and 100 below:
In addition, there are two options to change the border of two elements across Cleary, which you can customize and will be reflected in the preview below each section:
Logos
In addition to the usual logo settings present in the Styles section of Cleary Admin, you can also create a temporary logo!
To do so, head to Admin → Logos in Cleary and click Create a new Logo.
From here, you’ll customize several options related to the temporary logo:
Title: This will be the title of the temporary logo. This is for admin use only. It will not display to employees.
Nav Color: Reflects the background color of the main top navbar in Cleary.
Subnav Color: Changes the color of the subnav on top of Cleary in sections such as People. You should only need to change this if you change the Nav Color to match or be very close to the existing Subnav Color.
Hover Text: Allows you to input text that will appear when hovering over the logo with a cursor. This is a good place to announce something to your employees that the new logo is intended to showcase!
Link: “Click here to read more” will appear alongside the Hover text, which will hyperlink to whatever you input in this field.
Logo Image: Allows you to upload a temporary logo that will be in place of your usual Logo.
Start Time and End Time: Input a start and end time for this temporary logo, outside of which the usual logo will be in place.
After updating your Logo, they will be saved in the Logos section for you to use again!
